Every time I've visited this abandoned fort, there have been children exploring the chambers, climbing the stairs and ladders, yelling to each other about their discoveries. Ironically, it might be both the most somber and the most joyful place I know. #Oregon #OregonExplored #FortStevens #FortStevensStatePark #Hammond #OregonCoast
