Our assignment: #throughthelookingglass . Sitting in a bus, waiting for students to show up, I snapped close to 100 shots through various windows. This lone tree at the edge of the parking lot with the blurred edge of the Chehalem Mountains behind it and just the slightest hint of evening light in its branches gives a sense of how it feels to live in Oregon. A place where the mundane is both burden and beauty.
