Sometimes I stand in a place and think about what it would be like to be in that other place. I wonder what it would be like to be there, looking over to where I am here, thinking about what it might feel like to be standing where I'm standing. #JoemmaBeachStatePark #Longbranch #Washington - patreon.com/ericmuhr

For years I've been driving through Klamath Falls after dark, on my way to my grandma's house. This year is the first time I remember visiting during daylight hours. It is a place I'll be going back to. #UpperKlamathLake #MoorePark #KlamathFalls #KlamathCounty #Oregon

I had two bagels, a pint of orange juice, and a place to sit for awhile. #MerrittCreekTrestle #MerrittCreek #KlamathCounty #OCandEWoodsLineStateTrail #Oregon

The only thing I love more than a lone tree against the horizon is a pair. Like old friends. #OCandEWoodsLineStateTrail #KlamathCounty #Oregon

The old Valley View School was cut into pieces and transported by flatbed trailer up to this little hill when I was in junior high. When I worked at the camp here, colonies of bees would settle inside the wall every summer just around the corner to the left of the entrance. #CampTilikum #Newberg #YamhillCounty #Oregon

My sister and I climbed down a pile of rocks and out to this tree back in November while the white pelicans kept a wary eye on us. #UpperKlamathLake #KlamathFalls #KlamathCounty #Oregon

The OC&E Woods Line State Trail is along an old railroad bed, sheltered on either side by a wind-break of pines. Every once in awhile, there's a break in the line. And a view. #OCandEWoodsLineStateTrail #KlamathCounty #Oregon

On a visit to Penrose Point in January, I encountered a lot of friendly trees. It was quiet there. Easy to breathe. #PenrosePointStatePark #Lakebay #Washington
